In memoriam of Ted Kennedy

Yesterday, I watched the funeral service of Edward “ Ted ” Kennedy on Fox News, and the sad part for me is about the youngest son of the great Kennedy brothers has gone and it’s a big lost, knowing that the Kennedy family had a huge impact in US history. I’m questioning about would it be more Kennedy descent that will adorn US political history? I hope so.

Edward Kennedy became known as “The Lion of Senate” through his long tenure and influence. He played a major role in passing many laws. He was a strong supporter of The Civil Right Acts. He helped create the legislation that the Americans with disabilities act is passed into law. It bans discrimination based on physical or mental disabilities. He sponsored The Family and Medical Leave Act. He co-sponsored The No Child Left Behind Act, the legislation is set up to improve student performance by holding schools responsible for test scores. If test scores fail to meet certain standards or show improvement, the school may be closed or its staff replaced. He also championed Workers’ Rights by increasing federal minimum wages for the first time in 2007 from $5.15 an hour to $7.25.

In the year of 2008 He formally endorsed Barack Obama for president, " It is time again for a new generation of leadership, It is time now for Barack Obama."

Edward Kennedy's funeral has become one biggest political event in United States that unite every group. The Massachusetts senator died on August 25,2009 after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. A Rome Catholic mass was held by at least 7 priest, 11 pall-bearer and 27 honor pall-bearer. About 1500 people made a visit of condolence. There was Obama and other United States political figures such George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, until Senator John Mc Cain made a visit.

In loving memoriam of Kennedy, i'm gonna show u some of The Kennedy's photos dat I love :)
